Our Ontario Black Bear hunts take place in 13 different exclusive bear management areas totalling 410,000 acres in size. Having many different areas allow us to provide hunters of each week fresh stands that have not been previously hunted. A very important key in providing good quality Bears year after year. The management areas exclusive to Rainy Lake Outfitters have a high population of bears, as they have not been over harvested due to the remoteness of the area and because of the untouched high population of large adult bears. Most of these bears have never seen a human before....at Rainy Lake Outfitters we offer hunters many different pre-baited stand locations, approximately 100 each season.The stands are placed a few miles apart to prevent the same bears visiting different stands. The area's hunted are some of the most scenic land in sunset country with many lakes and streams accessible by a network of logging roads and waterways. We maintain a high success rate each year on our bear hunts of 90% and higher. Guests also enjoy great fishing for walleye, northern pike and smallmouth bass during the spring hunts all included in the price! Please check out our fishing pictures.
